DAF Trucks Ireland has handed over a new DAF XD 410 FAN 6×2 rigid to Newline Oil Company Limited, further strengthening the Wexford company’s delivery fleet.
The fully equipped 26-tonne unit was handed over to Roy and Gary Stafford of Newline Oil Company by DAF Trucks Ireland Regional Sales Manager Damien Finn.
Newline Oil supplies the domestic, commercial, industrial, agricultural and marine markets throughout County Wexford, operating from depots in Dirr, Murrintown and Enniscorthy.
With the company providing a same-day and next-day delivery service to its customers, maintaining a modern and reliable fleet is an important part of its operation.
The latest addition is a New Generation DAF XD 410 FAN 6×2, featuring a rear lift and steer axle. Powered by DAF’s 410hp MX-11 engine and paired with a 12-speed automated transmission, the new truck is well equipped for Newline Oil’s busy delivery operation.
The 26-tonne rigid also comes with an extensive specification including DAF’s XD Day Cab, integrated infotainment system, luxury air-suspended driver’s seat, air conditioning, LED lighting and a comprehensive safety package.
