Morris Lubricants has launched Versimax HD19, a new 10W-30 heavy-duty diesel engine oil developed to meet the latest DAF PSQL 2.4 LD specification along with other Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) qualifications.
Versimax HD19 10W-30 is a high-quality heavy-duty diesel engine oil formulated for modern diesel engines and advanced emissions systems, including Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs), Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR, AdBlue®), Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR), and Diesel Oxidation Catalysts (DOCs). Its low SAPS (Sulphated Ash, Phosphorous and Sulphur) technology provides excellent engine protection, even under demanding operating conditions and extended drain intervals.
This new engine oil is suitable for use in Euro IV, V and VI compliant engines, as well as Tier 3/Stage III, Tier 4/Stage IV and Stage V off-highway counterparts. Versimax HD19 is designed to meet the needs of today’s commercial vehicles and it is suitable for use with low-sulphur diesel fuel. This high-quality heavy-duty diesel engine oil has a demanding job to do and is formulated to deliver dependable performance when commercial vehicles are needed most.
Morris Lubricants’ Versimax HD19 10W-30 is one of the first engine oils in the commercial vehicle aftermarket that is compliant with the DAF PSQL 2.4 LD specification. This is a long drain heavy-duty diesel engine oil specification that is designed to improve fuel economy and reduce emissions. This specification demands a high level of protection against wear, oxidation, deposits and soot-related thickening to help maximise engine life and reduce commercial vehicle downtime. Its extended oil drain capabilities make it ideally suited for long haul applications as well as protecting engine components where commercial vehicles are subjected to stop/start or prolonged idling conditions.
Morris Lubricants’ Versimax HD19 10W-30 also delivers a broad range of other manufacturer and industry performance levels and has also recently gained formal OEM approval against the following specifications: Volvo VDS-4.5, Mack EO-S 4.5, Renault Trucks RLD-3. These additional OEM approvals create more opportunities for product rationalisation across mixed on and off-highway fleets, while helping operators maintain warranty compliance for vehicles requiring these specifications.
Versimax HD19 10W-30 engine oil’s wide OEM specification profile, includes;
DAF PSQL 2.1E LD / PSQL 2.4 / PSQL 2.4 LD, ACEA E7 / E8 / E11, API CK-4 / SN, CAT ECF-3, Detroit Diesel 93K218 / 93K222, Deutz DQC IV-18 LA, JASO DH-2-24
DTFR 15C100, 15C110, 15C120, MTU category 3.1, MAN M3775, Renault Truck RLD-3 (Approval), Volvo VDS-4.5 (Approval), Mack EO-S 4.5 (Approval), Cummins CES 20081 / CES 20086.
Adrian Hill, Morris Lubricants’ Technical Director explains: “As commercial vehicle engine designs and technologies advance, engine oil performance must keep pace. Today’s heavy-duty diesel engine oils are more complex than ever, formulated not only to help ensure engine component protection but to also work with aftertreatment devices fitted to the commercial vehicle such as DPFs, SCR (AdBlue®), EGR, and DOCs.”
“The launch of Versimax HD19 10W-30 heavy-duty diesel engine oil means that Morris Lubricants’ customers have access to the correct high-quality engine oils needed to help keep commercial vehicles out on the road and operating reliably.”
The new Versimax HD19 10W-30 engine oil from Morris Lubricants is part of the Versimax range, a series of high quality, heavy-duty diesel engine oils that can be used in many different brands of commercial vehicle. Morris Lubricants’ Versimax oils can be used in engines found in Volvo, MAN, Mack, Scania, Cummins, Caterpillar, Mercedes Benz, DAF, Renault and many more. The Versimax range is designed to help reduce downtime, improve fuel efficiency and contribute to the reduction in engine emissions.
Used by fleet operators, maintenance technicians, mechanics, and drivers, the Versimax range of engine oils helps to rationalise usage where mixed fleets of vehicles and engine technologies are in operation. This is done by offering a wide range of oils that are suitable for previous and current generation of heavy-duty diesel engines, across different brands, including those engines fitted with aftertreatment devices.
