Here’s the trailer for Tipperary Truck Show 2025…
03/09/2025
It’s full steam ahead for this year’s edition of the magnificent production that is Tipperary Truck Show, with the 2025 event due to take place in Holycross, Thurles over the weekend of Saturday, September 6th and Sunday, September 7th. Once more, the show is brought to you in association with Dennison.
Run by truckers for truckers, Tipperary Truck Show has hit upon a winning formula since its inception in 2014 and continues to go from strength to strength. The organisers are delighted to have Dennison Trailers returning as title sponsors of this major event again in 2025 … a winning relationship between two entities that both excel in their chosen field.
All the stops have been pulled out to make sure that Tipperary Truck Show 2025 is the biggest and best yet and an early measure of the success of the show can be gauged from the fact that truck entry tickets for the event sold out months in advance.
A magnificent range of trucks will be on display and there will also be plenty of entertainment and craic for truckers and their families, young or old.
Weekends like this are absolutely priceless in providing the men and women who keep the wheels of industry (and life as we know it) moving with an opportunity to let their hair down, mingle with their peers, relax and celebrate their profession.
Those behind the show do an unbelievable job behind the scenes in making sure Tipp Truck Show is a success every year; to make this possible they rely on the generosity and support of sponsors, including Dennison Trailers, who have served the truckers of Ireland for more than six decades and remain on as flagship sponsor for 2025.
With a passion for engineering excellence, continuous product development and the highest standards of customer service, Dennison Trailers have been manufacturing high quality commercial trailers for over 60 years to meet and exceed the needs of the most demanding operators.
At Dennison’s modern factories in Naas, County Kildare and Lancaster, UK, they manufacture skeletals, curtainsiders, platforms, trombones, machinery carriers and drawbar trailers, as well as a range of specialist trailers, including the innovative sliding bogie.
Underpinning each and every trailer is the renowned Dennison chassis - the culmination of more than six decades of design and manufacturing expertise and experience. Now with more than 60,000 trailers behind them, Dennison Trailers is a market leading manufacturer of semi-trailers, with an ever-growing customer base throughout Ireland and Britain and a healthy export market too.
In Ireland and the UK, Dennison is the market leader in the supply of skeletal trailers. Dennison Trailers skeletals are designed with deep consideration of the needs of operators, who expect the highest standards of performance, driver friendliness and build quality. These superior-performance skeletals deliver just that: they are robustly designed and built, require minimal driver input to change from one container size to another, last longer and require minimal maintenance – and yet they have an amazingly low un-laden weight.
Dennison offer a range of both fixed and sliding skeletals for operators dealing with a variety of container lengths – each designed and built to the same exacting standards. Goose necks on both fixed and sliding chassis have become an important part of the range in the last ten years, with operators benefitting from increased fuel efficiency alongside the ability to lower the centre of gravity of the container leading to increased safety.
Dennison are massive supporters of truck shows near and far, and are delighted to be associated annually as main sponsor with Tipperary Truck Show – a fantastic annual gathering / pilgrimage that brings the industry together.
Twenty-twenty-five has been another busy year for the industry-leading trailer manufacturer on the show circuit. June, for example, was packed with energy, conversations and connections as Dennison exhibited at Multimodal Exhibition and Road Transport Expo 2025 over in the UK.
From the urban curtainsider to the powerhouse sliding bogie skeletal, plus the double deck curtainsider, ISO tank skeletal, extendable trombone and rugged drop frame machinery carrier, Dennison certainly brought the heat to the Road Transport Expo!
The Dennison sliding bogie skeletal 14-lock trailer combines unbeatable durability with lightweight design - under 4,780kg in all-steel, with alloy options to save even more. Built to handle everything from 20’ to 45’ containers and 13.6m swap bodies, it’s engineered for precision, strength, and total reliability. Ready to haul and built to last, the sliding bogie features galvanised pull-out coupling assembly, galvanised pull-out crash bar assembly, air-operated locking pins, stainless steel wear strips and pin and roller design.
Meanwhile, flexibility meets innovation on the Dennison double deck curtainsider, which is designed to keep your cargo safe and streamlined. With a strong safety frame, sleek aerodynamic slope roof upfront and an optional flush rear panel, it’s built to move smoothly and securely. Plus, truckers choose from three variable deck heights to fit their load perfectly.
Specialist loads need specialist trailers and Dennison are right behind you with the Dennison ISO Tank Skeletal - the go-to for safe, stable liquid and gas container transport, featuring a low-centre slope-frame, easy rear access with steps, a choice of four or eight locks, plus a stainless drip tray for spill safety.
All Dennison trailers are designed and customised using the latest 3D solid modelling and stress analysis software. Their experienced design team works closely with the in-house Innovation Director and R&D team to help design some of the most sought after trailers available today.
Innovation is as important to Dennison as it is to their customers. As a business, they continuously innovate by applying cutting edge design aligned to the specific and changing requirements of each trailer’s function, always with the aim of saving fuel, maximising payloads, increasing manoeuvrability and flexibility, improving safety and complying with all legal regulations
