Celebrating 21 years in business, Glancy Enviro is rooted in a family tradition of excellence and innovation in environmental services. Founded in Longford in 2003 by the Glancy family, the business began with a simple mission: to provide local, quality environmental services. Since then, they have evolved into a dynamic company in Ireland’s environmental sector, expanding their services to every aspect of the business.

Glancy Enviro, provides comprehensive environmental services across Ireland. Their main services include drain cleaning, septic tank emptying, drain CCTV surveys, repairs through open dig and trenchless methods like CIPP. The company’s fleet of specialist vehicles, coupled with its highly-trained and professional team of drainage engineers and employees, ensure its clients’ schedule and budget is always maintained.

With no client being too big or small, Glancy Enviro provides services to domestic, commercial and construction, food processing and pharmaceutical sector clients as well as to water and local authorities. Clients choose Glancy Enviro for its experienced, professional, fully insured, safe, fast and effective and value-for-money service. Operating a 24/7 call centre, it is a member of NWCP, NADC, IOSH and IRHA.

The fleet consists of 45 vehicles, including both HGVs and LCVs, ensuring they can meet the demands of clients effectively. Recent additions and upgrades to the fleet keep them equipped with the latest technology, enhancing their service delivery. The company was founded in 2003 by father-and-son Oliver and Ollie Glancy, and is now run by brothers Ollie, Adrian, Johnny and Michael Glancy.

“We handle over 1,000 jobs per month, ranging from unblocking sewers in Dublin and emptying septic tanks in Longford to managing large-scale projects at major IPC-licensed facilities nationwide. This extensive operational scale underscores our capability and reliability in addressing diverse environmental service needs,” Adrian proudly states.

“We’re growing year-on-year and see many more opportunities ahead of us. Our growth strategy focuses on continuous innovation and expansion. We see more opportunities ahead and are committed to leveraging them to further our reach and capabilities," Michael comments.

With its headquarters in Longford and satellite locations in Dublin and Galway, Glancy Enviro is within easy reach of every customer. As part of its ongoing fleet replenishment programme, the company has taken delivery of nine new vehicles in the past year alone. It takes great pride in the appearance of its vehicles and won two awards at the recent Full of the Pipe Truck Show in Punchestown. With their striking blue, white and green livery, they are a real head-turner.

“We’re constantly investing in our fleet, Glancy Enviro is committed to reducing its carbon footprint through various sustainability initiatives. Our adoption of eco-friendly practices and equipment helps us minimise environmental impact, aligning with our goal of long-term sustainability,” Michael adds.

“We always have new vehicles coming on order because of the long lead-in time on specialised equipment. We’re running Volvo tractor units, MAN and DAF JetVac tankers and recyclers, and Scania rigid tankers.

“All vehicles are maintained and serviced in our own workshop to ensure there is no such thing as downtime. We have two full-time mechanics who know the trucks inside out. Our main suppliers are Westward Scania in Strokestown, Reynolds Commercials in Walderstown, Athlone and Interparts in Cavan.”
