“We’re going from strength to strength,” Padraig proudly states. “I always had an interest in importing parts and selling them which led to me setting up this company seven years ago. We’ve grown to employ 26 people – including my father Martin – and have eight vans on the road providing a next-day delivery service. We have 45,000 different parts numbers in stock at our Williamstown premises which consists of a trade counter, large warehouse and office.

“We have genuine, quality parts for all makes of trucks and trailers. Our suppliers are from all over Europe, while our clients are a mix of transport, quarrying and recycling companies. . . anyone with a lorry really,” he adds. Recently, Expert Trucks launched a brand-new website, www.experttrucks.ie, which is easy to navigate and allows you to view, select and order parts online. There is also a ‘Deal of the Week’ segment on selected parts.

“There has been a great reaction to the new website which is bringing in a lot of extra business,” enthuses Padraig, who is an old head on young shoulders. Expert Trucks uses the latest technology to provide a fast and efficient parts selection. Downtime costs money, which is why, when it comes to parts, rapid availability is everything. “Having trained as a Volvo truck mechanic, I can provide customers with advice on which parts they need or any other relevant information.

We have access to all the relevant data needed and are ready and willing to help out in any way possible. New products are added to the line and online shop every week to give our customers even greater choice and keep us ahead of the game.”
