As a company whose products and services are geared very much towards truckers and vehicle owners, A1 Supplies enjoys a close relationship with Full of the Pipe. As a keen truck show enthusiast, owner Shane Duggan is proud to support and sponsor this weekend’s 2024 FOTP event in nearby Mondello Park, where he’ll have a nice range of stuff on display at the A1 Supplies stand.

Within a relatively short space of time, A1 Supplies has become synonymous with high-quality tools and mechanical equipment. The company is going from strength to strength, due to the inherent quality and value of the products provided, the standard of customer care consistently delivered and the knowledge and enthusiasm of young proprietor Shane Duggan, who is a keen fan of Full of the Pipe:

“I have a great interest in trucks and motorsports and I know Kevin a long time. The fact that it’s in Mondello, in my own area, means it’s a great opportunity for me to get my name out there,” the Kildare man told Irish Trucker magazine. “It’s good advertising and it’s a no-brainer for me, really. I’m delighted to be involved.

“Full of the Pipe is the best truck show in Ireland and it’s something that’s close to my own heart as well as tying in with my business as I sell all mechanical equipment, dealing with a lot of truck mechanics,” Shane continues. “I’m looking forward to the show and the chance to advertise at it.”

Coming from a motorsport background, Shane set up A1 Supplies back in 2019, having previously worked as a labourer on a building site. “I was now touching 20 years of age,” he reflects. “I wanted to be still involved in motors, but needed an income, so I got into the tool industry, supplying mechanical equipment to those in the motor trade.”

It was a good move and the Kildare man has never looked back. What are the main products and services provided? “I supply all types of mechanical and garage equipment from hand tools to consumables and much more,” he reveals. Check out the AI Supplies stand at Full of the Pipe to get an idea of the range of tools and equipment covered, or head over to the company’s website of Facebook page.

Shane sources high-quality, dependable and therefor value-added products from all over Europe and the UK, with his primary customer base comprising those who work in the truck and car industries.

“We supply lots of businesses and companies with equipment on a daily basis and also apprentices starting off,” confirms the founder and owner, who provides a nationwide service, including deliveries. “We have a van on the road Monday to Saturday covering Ireland with deliveries and we also send out stuff by courier every day.”

Having grown the business organically and expanded his reach through word of mouth, social media and tradeshows, etc., Shane will have an online store up and running this year, which should make his products even more conveniently accessible.

Stocking renowned brands such as Milwaukee, Draper, US Pro, US Snap Mac and Manarola, AI Supplies is all about quality tools and equipment, with Shane keeping a close eye on the market to make sure he’s always got the latest and best products. “Every few weeks, there are always new products coming out, and a mechanic can never have enough tools,” he quips.

Looking forward to Full of the Pipe 2024 on the second weekend of July, the Kildare man adds: “I will take a mixture of products to Full of the Pipe. “We will try to cover all aspects and anything that’s not on display, we can send out quickly in the days following the show.

“Full of the Pipe is by far Ireland’s leading show and I am delighted to be part of it,” Shane concludes. “I have attended every show along the way from the very first one with my dad as a kid many moons ago. Kevin and the team put great dedication and hard work into this show and it has really paid off.”

Full of the Pipe Truckshow Ireland returns to Mondello Park over the weekend of July 13th and 14th.
