Waterford Truck Show is proudly back for its 11th Year
11/04/2024
On Easter Saturday, one of the first sunny Saturdays of this year saw the launch of Waterford Truck Show 2024 in Tramore. The organising committee welcomed the Tramore and Dunmore East RNLI and some local truckers and companies who had some fantastic shiny trucks which is just a taste of what we will see in Tramore on 11th and 12th May. The location of the show is a hard standing scenic site at the end of the promenade by The Burrows/backstrand car park.
The show is home to everyday working trucks and fleets, as well as vintage, classic and show trucks from all over Ireland and The UK. This year's site is a hard standing site at the end of Tramore’s famous Promenade, The Burrows car park and the adjacent site by kind permission of Waterford County Council and Walsh Hotel Group.
The Waterford Truck Show has cemented itself as a premier Truck Show in Ireland. This annual event has been attracting exhibitors and attendees from Ireland and abroad since 2013. From the day it was conceived, it was important to us that this annual event became a firm fixture on the calendar for transport’s finest from all over Ireland and the UK. In addition to the business and commercial aspect of the event, there is particular attention paid to families attending, with a range of entertainment, activities and retail stands that will keep the whole family entertained for the day.
As a not-for-profit organisation, proceeds from the event will continue to raise much needed funds for the Royal National Lifeboat Institute (RNLI) Dunmore East/Tramore, which has special meaning for communities in Waterford and the South East. It is worth noting that the RNLI is fully reliant on charitable donations, receiving no Government funding in providing an outstanding and vital service to the community and beyond.
So please come along and support this wonderful cause on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May and don’t miss one of Ireland’s leading Truck Shows.
