Pall-Ex Group partners with Ace Express Freight for new dedicated Irish network
Ace Express Freight has future proofed cross-border freight services by becoming a master licensee for palletised logistics giant Pall-Ex Group.
A long-time member of the Pall-Ex network, the Dublin-based haulier has taken the driving seat in Irish distribution post-Brexit and invested heavily in personnel to provide customers with additional support.
The partnership will deliver a permanent solution now changes to exports and imports have been finalised and will be followed by the formal launch of Pall-Ex Ireland later this year.
Ace Express Freight has risen to the challenge of Brexit, maintaining cross-border services throughout the transition.
It has created 25 new jobs as a result of import and export changes, including roles in its administration, customer service and customs clearance departments, with recruitment on-going across all areas of the business.
The firm was previously a long-standing member of Pall-Ex – a network of independent hauliers that transport palletised freight nationally and internationally – and operated the Pall-Ex Irish Service for over 15 years.
