Perennial Freight - Actros)

The recent addition of five new Mercedes-Benz Actros tractor units sees one of Ireland's largest transport companies, Perennial Freight start its new year on the front foot.

Forming part of a larger order, the new units arrive hot on the heels of five Actros trucks, delivered late in 2022, and will be followed by a further 10 Actros units to be delivered over the course of 2023.

The five new trucks, all Mercedes-Benz Actros 1845LS, 4x2 tractor units, feature 2.5m Big Space cabs and Actros ‘L’ packages – the most luxurious product offering in the model series. Chief amongst the driver comfort elements are luxury bunk beds, sliding fridge, night heater, passenger table, ambient interior lights and glass sunroof.

Supplied by Motor Distributors Limited, of which Perennial Freight is a long-standing customer, the new tractor units come factory finished in Perennial Freight’s eye-catching cobalt blue livery and will operate from the company's Taghmon base in Wexford, servicing daily routes across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe.

Established in 1998 and now with offices in Ireland, the UK, France, Belgium, Spain and Poland, Perennial Freight is widely recognised as one of Ireland’s largest transport companies, with a fleet of over 1000 trailers and a further 130 trucks operating transport services across continental Europe.
