DG Mc Ardle International becomes first fleet in Ireland to take DAF XF Ultimate

Transport company DG Mc Ardle International, based in Monaghan with a depot in Dublin, has become the first fleet operator in Ireland to take delivery of the high-specification DAF XF Ultimate with an order of 11 new units.

Priding themselves on a modern fleet of over 120 trucks, DG Mc Ardle International Limited is a specialist provider of Transport & Logistics services throughout Ireland, the UK & Europe. Founded in 1993, the family-owned business specialises in secure transport, pharmaceuticals & life sciences, temperature-controlled goods, ADR shipments, general groupage, containerisation & warehousing services.

DG Mc Ardle Managing Director, David Mc Ardle, explained the reasons behind the latest order: “We’re delighted to add these premium specification vehicles to our fleet. We have been operating DAF trucks for over 10 years now and have always found them to be reliable and fuel-efficient vehicles. The Ultimate package takes this quality and driver comfort to an even higher level.”

The DAF Ultimate package for the XF includes a wide range of features which provide the Ultimate in safety, efficiency, and driver comfort including: LED headlights, Battery Energy Monitoring System, Automatic Cab Climate Control, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Accessory Power Supply, Predictive Cruise Control, Rear Light Unit with LEDs.

The vehicles are supplied and supported by DAF Trucks Ireland’s headquarters in Dublin.

David Mc Ardle continued, “The vehicles will be maintained in our own workshops, but complemented by the workshop and parts supply of DAF Trucks Ireland in Dublin.
