Sprinters continue to deliver for DPD

DPD parcel delivery franchise, Budcar Limited has started the New Year on the front foot with the recent addition of two new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans to give its commercial vehicles fleet a boost.

Supplied by Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles main dealer, Kinahan Commercials of Moate, DPD’s distinctive white, red and black livery was completed by Spectrum Signs, Athlone. Soon to be a familiar site on Irish roads, the two new long wheelbase units will operate from the Company’s Westmeath Offaly division, delivering goods to homes and businesses throughout the Midlands.

Top amongst the myriad of driver comfort and safety features to be found in both Sprinter vans are multi-function steering wheel, keyless start, eco start/stop, sliding left panel door, reversing camera and MBUX multimedia system with 7 inch touch screen.

With roots tracing back to 1986, DPD Ireland now operates some 37 depots throughout the country and handles in excess of 20 million parcels per year.
