No skimping on motor insurance

According to a recent AIB survey, more than 80% of people in Ireland are still opting for fully comprehensive insurance.

With 83% of drivers paying for fully comprehensive insurance, the survey shows that only 13% of people are opting for the cheaper option of third-party, fire, and theft cover, while 4% have third-party.

Respondents to the survey revealed that the no-claims bonus offered to them was of paramount importance.

Protecting their no-claims bonus was important to them when choosing an insurer and the majority of people had never made a claim on their insurance.
