Atego delivers for Arnotts

Santry-based logistics firm Etmar has added two new Mercedes-Benz Atego trucks to its fleet which will soon be put through their paces delivering furniture on behalf of its client Arnotts. 

Leased through Fleetplan, the two 818 rigid short radius distribution trucks are finished in Arnotts livery.

Established more than two decades ago, and servicing some of Ireland’s leading retail names, Etmar specialises in home delivery of furniture from the retail sector and also provides warehousing and stock control services.

Positioned within the 6.5 to 16 tonnes segment, the Atego slots into the Mercedes-Benz range alongside its larger stablemates Actros, Antos and Arocs and has been praised for its 'nimbleness' around city centre traffic. Features include Stability Control Assist, ABS, ASR as standard and a high performance braking system designed to ensure maximum driver safety.
