In preparation for a busy year ahead, Slane-based Noone Transport has bolstered its fleet for 2017 with the recent addition of 10 new Mercedes-Benz Actros trucks.

The new 1845LS Big Space 4x2 tractor units, complete with continental specification, bring to 43 the number of Actros now in the Meath firm’s stable.

In ordering the new units, Noone Transport’s managing director Kevin Noone was said to be influenced by the ‘excellent fuel efficiency and reliability of the existing Actros trucks on their fleet.’

Founded in Duleek in 1986, Noone Transport has grown to become one of Ireland’s leading logistics and distribution companies. Since 2001, the company has operated from its current, more extensive headquarters in Slane, Co. Meath.

In addition to a dedicated national transport service, Noone also operates a Europe-wide service for full and part-load consignments employing ambient and temperature controlled trailers.
