Celebrating five years in business, B&R TranSpares Ltd has firmly established itself as the leading distributor of truck, bus and trailer parts in the South-East. The company stocks a huge range of quality parts and accessories to keep your wheels turning.

The past five years have been a whirlwind for Brian and Richie Minogue. Setting up a new company at the height of the recession was a brave move, but one that has certainly paid off for the affable brothers who have seen their vehicle spare parts business flourish.

“We established B&R TranSpares in New Ross in November 2010 not really knowing what to expect,” Brian recalls. “The recession, and the fact that many hauliers couldn’t afford to upgrade their fleet, was also a huge help to us. Because they were holding onto their trucks for longer, there was a need for them to replace parts more often and that was obviously good for our business.

“Our growth has also been aided by the introduction of the RSA vehicle standards. All vehicles must now comply with certain standards before they are deemed road worthy. The set-up costs for our business were low at the time. “All these factors combined have made it possible for our company to grow much faster than we expected. We have five staff and two delivery vans, with plans to have a third van on the road by the end of the year.”

Service, quality and price competitiveness have been other key elements in the success of B&R TranSpares to date. The company’s team of professional staff – Brian and Richie are joined by Rose Delahunty, Pat Lanigan and Sarah Connick – focus on the needs of their customers and strive to cater for their particular requirements.

B&R TranSpares are committed to supplying its customers with quality parts at competitive prices. The company’s 4,500 square feet warehouse is stocked with a comprehensive range of parts which will ensure your downtime is kept to a minimum.

Opening hours are from 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday-Friday and from 9am to 1pm on Saturdays. In addition, B&R TranSpares provides an efficient delivery service throughout the entire South-East region. The company uses Fastway Couriers or DPD Ireland for next-day nationwide deliveries.

“Our client-base is growing all the time,” Brian enthuses. “While most of our customers hail from Wexford, Kilkenny, Waterford, Tipperrary and Carlow, we are expanding into Cork and Wicklow. Our customers include fleet owners, garages, main dealers, bus companies, waste management firms and couriers.

New Ross’ location on the N25, which links both Cork and Waterford cities to Rosslare Harbour, also ensures plenty of passing trade for B&R TranSpares.
“We’re only 25 miles from Rosslare Harbour, so it’s convenient for truck drivers to stop off here on their way to and from the boat. We’re located beside the Woodbine Business Park roundabout which means the drivers don’t have to come off the main road.”

B&R TranSpares is proud to stock the widest range of genuine and aftermarket truck, bus and trailer parts in the South-East. Everything from air brake components, clutches, turbos and body panels to lubricants, filters and airbags is stocked. Parts for SCANIA, DAF, HINO,IVECO, MAN, MERCEDES-BENZ, VOLVO, ISUZU and MITSUBISHI trucks are available, as are a huge range of trailer parts for BPW, SAF, ROR and MERCEDES DISCOS.
